What Edu Learning certificates, badges and completion records confirm - and what they do not.
This Certificate and Completion Disclaimer explains what the certificates, digital badges and completion records issued by Edu Learning represent, and what they do not. It applies to all programs offered through this website, including skill paths, short programs, micro-credentials, workplace learning programs, guided cohorts and custom courses, whether purchased by an individual learner or by an organisation for its team.
An Edu Learning certificate or completion record confirms that the named learner completed the stated program, including any quizzes or tasks the program required, within their access period. Where a program is participation-based, the certificate confirms participation only. The certificate names the program, the completion date and, where relevant, the skills the program covered.
The learning platform records your progress automatically as you complete lessons, quizzes and tasks. A program is marked complete when every required component has been finished within your access period, and your certificate or badge is then issued through your learner account, usually immediately and in downloadable PDF form. Completion records are retained in line with our Privacy Policy, which is how we are able to verify or reissue a certificate later if you need us to.
Micro-credentials and badges issued by Edu Learning are stackable recognition of focused skills. They describe the specific capability the program addressed and the basis on which it was assessed. They are designed to signal practical skill development to employers and peers, and to build towards broader learning pathways.
Unless expressly stated on the program page, Edu Learning programs are not nationally recognised training, do not lead to qualifications or statements of attainment under the Australian Qualifications Framework, and are not delivered by Edu Learning as a registered training organisation. Where you need nationally recognised outcomes, our pathways to formal study can connect you with recognised providers within the CAQA Groups family and beyond; any recognised training is delivered and certified by the relevant registered provider under its own terms.
Completing an Edu Learning program does not guarantee employment, promotion, a pay increase, professional registration, licensing, migration or visa outcomes, admission to further study, or any particular result in your workplace. Employers, regulators, professional bodies and education providers each apply their own criteria when deciding what recognition to give a certificate or badge.
Employers and other third parties may contact us to verify that a certificate or completion record was genuinely issued. We verify the learner name, program title and completion date with the learner's consent or where verification is otherwise permitted under our Privacy Policy.
Check that your name appears correctly when you enrol, as certificates are generated from your account details. If your certificate contains an error, or you need a copy reissued, contact us and we will correct and reissue it at no charge. We may decline to reissue a certificate that was withdrawn following an academic integrity finding under our Learner Conduct policy.
You are welcome to share your certificate or digital badge with employers, include it in your resume or display it on professional networks such as LinkedIn. When sharing, present the program name and completion date as issued; altering a certificate, or presenting it as evidence of a qualification or accredited outcome it does not represent, is a breach of our Learner Conduct policy and may lead to the credential being withdrawn.
If you are unsure what a certificate or badge represents, or how it may be recognised, contact us at info@caqa.com.au, on 1800 266 160 or through our contact page before you enrol.
