How fees, cancellations and refunds work for Edu Learning programs, cohorts and team licences.
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, replacements, credits and remedies are managed for Edu Learning. Nothing in this policy limits rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law. Refunds and remedies depend on the type of product or service purchased, the reason for the request, whether the product or service has been accessed or delivered, and whether a major or minor problem exists.
Edu Learning sells enrolments in self-paced skill paths, short programs and micro-credentials, places in guided cohorts and coaching programs, and workplace or team licences that give an organisation a set number of learner seats. Custom course development is quoted separately under a written proposal, and that proposal's payment and cancellation terms prevail where they differ from this policy. Fees are confirmed before payment, and payments are processed by secure third-party providers or by invoice. Browsing this website, contacting us and subscribing to the newsletter are free.
If you cancel a self-paced enrolment within seven days of purchase and before accessing any course materials, we will refund the full fee. Ask us in writing using the contact details below and we will confirm the cancellation and process the refund.
Once you have accessed course materials, we are generally unable to refund a change-of-mind cancellation, because digital learning content is delivered immediately. Where only a small portion of a program has been accessed, we may at our discretion offer a partial refund or a credit towards another Edu Learning program. We would rather solve the problem than keep an unhappy learner, so tell us early if a program is not right for you.
For cohort-based programs and scheduled coaching, cancellations received at least seven days before the start date receive a full refund or a free transfer to a later intake. Cancellations after that time, and non-attendance without notice, are not refundable, although we will offer a transfer where places allow. If you cannot attend, an eligible colleague may take your place if you tell us before the program starts.
Team and seat licences are invoiced as agreed with the purchasing organisation. Unused seats may be reallocated to other staff during the licence period but are not refundable once the licence term has started. Licence renewals are never automatic without agreement; we confirm renewal pricing and seat numbers with your administrator before a new term begins.
If Edu Learning cancels a program or cohort, or reschedules it to a time you cannot attend, you may choose a full refund, a credit or a transfer to another program of equivalent value. If a self-paced program is retired while your access period is current, we will provide continued access to an equivalent replacement or a pro-rata refund.
Our programs come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service has a major problem, you may choose a refund or compensation for any drop in value; if the problem is minor, we may fix it within a reasonable time by resupplying the service, repairing access or providing a suitable replacement. This policy operates alongside, and never in place of, those statutory rights.
